His battles with the characters lasted long, spanning over arcs, and are praised for being some of the most epic fights of the series. When Fat Buu first appeared, characters and viewers alike were not very intimidated. However, he had amazing absorption powers, but it still didn't make him very intimidating. Even with his chocolate beam.
Although his raw power was something to fear, it was not enough. He was easily defeated by those who went up against him. Bibidi was able to seal him away rather quickly, and Goku had no trouble taking him out. His greatest power, however, is his absorption powers, which is why he doesn't land high on our list. This was likely the first time where viewers were ever genuinely afraid of Buu.
This was the time where Buu's dark energy came out for the first time. His appearance changes and one of the first things he does is go on a rampage that includes death and destruction. Oh, and then he eats himself. Even though his anger is enough to make him a serious threat, the fact that he basically self-implodes so quickly is why this Buu is low on the list.
This is one of the most memorable transformations of Buu. It is also definitely one of the smartest transformations of Buu. He is far more intimidating than other versions, thanks to his bulk. Of course, he's still incredibly immoral. He has no qualms about killing but did he ever, really? Since he is not restraining himself, he has the power of the South Supreme Kai. He takes no injury and damage from Gotenks' attacks and instead inflicts damage on Gotenks.
Fusion in Dragon Ball continues to be one of the biggest selling points about the show. While many Dragon Ball Z fans make the mistake of dismissing Piccolo as a fighter, the truth is that absorbing him gave Buu a dangerous tactical edge that he had not previously had before. So, absorbing Piccolo gave Buu an intelligence he had never had before. Future Super Buu is another version of this character that only a handful of fans know about.
In terms of power, he has access to the same level of awesome power as the regular Super Buu. At the same time, he absorbs even more powerful characters over the course of the game, including characters such as Broly. This ends up making him even more powerful and unpredictable than the original Super Buu, who was one of the most dangerous foes the Z fighters ever faced.
However, there are still other forms of this warrior that presented an even greater threat to the Earth and the entire universe. While fused with Piccolo, Buu manages to achieve his goal: absorbing Gohan! He proves how powerful he is by taking on Goku and Vegeta, and they fight him as a team before reluctantly fusing together to try to defeat Buu. Like everyone else, though, they end up being absorbed by Buu. As with the other fusions, absorbing Gohan resulted in a change of clothes for Buu.
He also sported new abilities that extended beyond a costume change, as his body had physiological and psychological defenses to help him deal with Goku and Vegeta when they started fighting back from the inside. While this was the strongest Buu they had faced yet, there are other forms that have more raw power. Our only real data point comes from watching the South Supreme Kai fight.
At the same time, we know that Kid Buu was not fighting with his full strength, and was likely simply testing the Kai.
Thus, the Kai ended up with a relatively strong place on this list, but Kid Buu is still his better. Kid Buu is our most powerful version of Buu yet for a single compelling reason: he is the most reckless! His destruction of the Earth kills billions of people, including notable heroes like Piccolo and Trunks. Fortunately, Goku and Vegeta are able to work with Dende and other characters to bring everyone back to life with the Dragon Balls.
Dende uses one of their multiple wishes via the Namekian Dragon to wish Goku back to his full strength. However, this is not the last we see of him. A very consistent feature of Dragon Ball Z is that Goku has a pure heart. So, even as he obliterates Kid Buu to save the world, he wishes that he could challenge a non-evil version of this guy to a rematch someday. Specifically, we see him five years after Goku became his mentor. At this point, Uub is fifteen years old and stronger than ever.
Of course, the overriding message of Dragon Ball is that there is always a tougher opponent right around the corner. Uub discovers how true this is when he squares off against an alien opponent named Baby hey, with a name like that, you have to become tough. Uub is easily beaten by Baby and has to resort to fusion in order to save himself - and potentially the entire planet. So in what way, then, will all of these forms appear in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot?
In doing so, he became the fat, playful blob that he is at his introduction in Dragon Ball Z rather than the maniacal monster he started as. Though referred to as innocent, Buu follows the commands of Babidi, committing many atrocities shortly after he arrived on Earth. Buu proves to be extremely powerful, defeating Gohan with ease, and capable of regenerating from any wound, a trait shown when he recovers from Vegeta's final explosion technique.
Later, Innocent Buu splits into two parts, one made of good and one made of evil. Good Buu looks identical to Innocent Buu, but no longer contains the evil he was born with. Players will get to face this form of Buu several times. Innocent Buu has a brief encounter with Gohan early on, but the fight is very one sided.
Buu is challenged by other warriors who are much more capable, though. Players should be about to fight Buu as Majin Vegeta before he makes his final sacrifice, Super Saiyan 3 Goku shortly after he returns from Other World, and Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks , all in challenging and unique fights.
At one point, Good Buu fights evil Buu, so although it is unconfirmed, it is possible that players may briefly play Good Buu in this battle. Only time will tell. Evil Buu is the result of Innocent Buu splitting his being into two.
While Good Buu looks identical to Innocent Buu, Evil Buu is pure evil, taking on the appearance of a skinnier, taller, and more gray version of Buu than the chubby, pink monster fans had seen thus far.
A recent scan showed all of Buu's forms , and although it is somewhat difficult to see, Evil Buu is there.
